Dear Friend,

Flexi Update : used for transactional and master data
(except hierarchy).
Direct Update : only for Master data

Differences:
------------

Flexi Update. / Direct Update.

1. Manual Infosource creation / InfoObject itself
treats IS.

2. Update Rules are required / No Update rules.

3. BEx Reporting available / No BEx reporting.

4. Data Tragets required / Infoobjects itself
Data Targets.
