Defining success

Success, Success, Success, Success, is the key word. We always die for success. This is the only word that influence us towards many personalities. Unless ans until they attain success we do not recognize them. Be it Dhirubhai, Bill Gates, or Einstein.

So what exactly is success? The question is open and i am also trying to find some answer.

for retail aspirants

The future: A career in retail

Retailing which has come to be accepted as a byword for reselling, can best be described as the tail of any sale process aimed at bringing goods and services directly to the final consumer for his personal, non-commercial use.
I tend to call it so for, retailing constitutes the last link of a long chain which brings goods and services to the doorstep of consumer after being tossed around from one hand to another. It results in consumption of goods or services, the sale or the lack of it and it determines the state of any economy. In this case, the thumb rule of economics is crystal clear: more the consumption, more the production, higher the gross domestic product (GDP) and better the standard of living of populace of a country. This clearly indicates that there is a dire need to give the largely unorganised retail sector in India, an organised thrust.

Decide on the balance

Well this is going in my mind for a long long time. How do you maintain the balance between social and professional life. Is it too hard. Or it is not possible at all. We are being told from the start of our management course that please get used to work for at least 12 hours a day. Sacrifice on your sleep, focus only on work, your ambition. But what about our parents, our friends, our spouses. Is it not our duty to spend some time with them, we also need them and vice versa. What a dilemma?

But then when we read about this famous personalities we come to know that they were quite engrossed in their professional lives. Of course we have to be in continuous sync with our ambition than and then only we will give our best shot. So if we are too much into it we start enjoying it and we forget about anything else. Just imagine a situation where you are playing your favorite computer game, say NFS, and you like driving in real life too. You will not be able to make out how did you spent 4-5 hours in playing and not even anything around it. Also you are not bored and even not tired.
The same kind of passion is needed when you wok or run you r own business. That is true, but what about others. Will stop on this questioning note and make a conclusion that.

IT IS UP TO US TO CHOOSE BETWEEN THE LINES OF PROFESSIONAL AND SOCIAL LIFE BEFOREHAND.
