Mark Your Calendar

The Microsoft co-founder and driving force in the company, whose boyish face and nerdy manner epitomizes the US software colossus, spends his last day at the office on Friday.

However Gates, 52, remains chairman of the Microsoft board of directors and the company's largest shareholder.

After decades devoted to Microsoft, Gates turns his attention full time to the philanthropic Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation he established with his wife.

Gates leaves Microsoft to wrestle with a fast-changing computer era and growing challenges from Internet juggernaut Google and longtime rival Apple, which makes Macintosh computers.

Three people will essentially fill the void Gates leaves behind at Microsoft.

Gate's job as chief software architect is being handled by Ray Ozzie.

Craig Mundie inherited Gate's chief research and strategy officer duties, while former Harvard University classmate Steve Ballmer is chief executive officer at the software colossus based in Redmond, Washington.

Cyborg's Comments:

Well guys mark this date on the Calendar, as it has already created history.

Fell the heat, Bill Gates of MICROSOFT resigns from its active corporate responsibilities.

Its like leavin your own baby to someone else, for taking care. Thank god its not somebody else but Steve Ballmer.

But yes history is created, the fact that we take Bill Gates for Granted in this generation was not and will not be seen in the same way.

Emotional Feelings ????

Yes especially if he is one of your iconic figures.

5 Ideas You Can Start Using Today To Combat Stress

1. Get Sufficient Sleep

Most people require anywhere from six to eight hours of sleep. But this differs from person to person. To find out how much sleep is required by your body in order to receive sufficient rest, try out this technique for a week…

Sleep without an alarm and sleep for as long as your body requires. You could use earplugs and blinkers to ensure that you are not disturbed. In the morning, you can make a note of how many hours you were asleep. Do this activity for seven days.

Take an average of the number of hours you slept on the 5th, 6th and 7th day. This is the number of hours your body requires for receiving adequate rest and for reducing stress. If you receive sufficient sleep you will feel revitalized and energetic throughout the day.

2. Practice Deep Breathing

Deep breathing is one of the most simple and easy techniques that can be followed for stress reduction. This activity can be performed whether you are at home, at work or traveling.

Here is a breathing technique that you can follow

1. Sit or stand with a good posture.
2. Breathe through your nose.
3. Inhale, filling first the lower part of your lungs then the middle part, then the upper part.
4. Hold your breath for a few seconds.
5. Exhale slowly. Relax your abdomen and chest.

3. Physical Exercises

Some people like physical activities such as trekking or hiking while others may prefer dancing or brisk walking. The key is to choose a physical activity that you enjoy doing. Any type of exercise is good to reduce stress and it is even more effective if you exercise regularly. Stress tends to build up over a period of time and the best way to reduce is to do so gradually. So remember, the next time you feel stressed out, hit the gym or just take a walk. This is one of the basic steps of any stress reduction program.

Physical exercise has a dual benefit for your body. First of all it helps you stay in shape and thus helps you look good as well as younger. Secondly, when you perform a physical activity, your body releases endorphins. These chemical substances have no harmful side effects on your body. Instead, they make you feel good.

4. Maintain a Stress Free Environment

Lots of noise and clutter increases your stress levels. So a good way to reduce stress is to ensure that your work place as well as your home is free of loud noises and clutter. You can start off by getting rid of unwanted documents, papers and other litter that occupy your desk.

You can also ensure that you are prepared for work the previous night itself by keeping essential items like your house and car keys, wallet and vital documents at a particular place. A little bit of discipline and organization on a regular basis will go a long way in reducing stress in the long run.

5. Reward Yourself

At the end of a stressful day, there is no better way to unwind than to treat yourself to a long relaxing hot bath or a steam massage. Irrespective of your choice, do make it a practice to treat yourself to an activity that you enjoy doing. And during that time do not worry about work or household chores or anything else. Instead you must solely focus on enjoying yourself.

It is essential to de-stress yourself from time to time. Rewarding yourself occasionally is an excellent way to relax as well as reduce your stress. Remember stressed spelled backwards is desserts.

Do you have any personal stress relieving tips to share?

Blogger Meet part2

Well as mentioned I finally decided to go the Blogger's meet at Santacruz. It takes around 1hr to reach to santacruz(for the blogger's meet) from Nerul. I decided to catch bus from Nerul to Santacruz.

The bus service is provided by our very own BEST. I really must appreciate the service they provide. First and foremost is the cost, its dirt cheap. From minimum Rs.3/ticket to Rs.45/ticket approximately. Plus they have bus service from any damn corner of Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. The route design is fantastic. Now on this TWO stars there is a THIRD start. It is the one day pass concept. During your first journey in the bus just take a Rs.20 ticket, and you can roam around Mumbai and Navi Mumbai with the same ticket "N" number of times.

Seeking this advantage I thought of getting into bus, utilizing my ticket. Bus number 507 goes directly from Nerul to Santacruz (Pinstorm Cafe : Blogger's Meet). I was waiting for say around 10 minutes and came a bus numbered 511 which is for a different destination named Mulund(where I live), but has half of the route same. With not wasting the time furthur I got ON the bus. But that was not my destiny. Cutting the story short(as it is not the main topic, but Bloggers Meet) it took me 2hours to reach to Santacruz where the Blogger's Meet was scheduled. I reached at the Pinstorm Cafe, Santacruz, for teh Blogger's Meet, at around 7:15.

Actually speaking they where not having any Agenda on mind for that days Blogger's meet. Coincidently I, and even many of us asked for the Agenda. All came to the conclusion that now on we should have a Agenda decided before hand. So when I reached they where discussing about how to setup a website for Mumbai Bloggers which was conceptualized by Dinesh. Plus how should we go about promoting the site and the Blogging culture. Frankly speaking nothing much came out. Following are the minutes of meeting:

Take home message ----

1.The site has to be redesigned n restructured. (Ronak and DInesh)

2.Promotion of the site so as to develop this community and create awareness about the word Blogging.

3.Involve famous bloggers like Tarun and internet marketeers (blogcamp gang) so as to have a better coverage.

4.Use services of colleges and few startups around to create awareness at the ground level. 5.Get maximum inputs from blogosphere to promote this community. (compiled by Vivek K)

But this was not it, we had some good networking session, with Samosas, Tang, Biscuits and IPL Semi Finals(superb Combination HA!)

Blogger's Meet

So the day starts, some how I wake up at 7:30 in the morning, time to go to office..................
Shuckssssssssssss its Saturday man, yeah!!! I know its saturday and I have to go to office. Dunno know who came out with the concept of working on alternate Saturdays. Anyways no point on cribbing till the Green Bills are coming in every month end........

I got this message from Dinesh (dinesh who?) well he is a one blogger man. Very active on blog circuit and Barcamp too. Ok back to the message, that there is a bloggers meet an unofficial one on Saturday 31st May. The venue was Pinstorm Cafe thanks to Netra Parekh.

So I and one of my friends decided to go to this meeting. My friend Prasad Narulkar is also hard core blogger. We discussed a lot whether to go to the Blogger's meet or not. Since the venue was very far from our place. We postponed the decision to go to the Blogger's meet till Saturday evening.............

Goooooooooooooood Morning mumbai was my state when I got up at 7:30am. Trying to rationale why Office on saturday, but Bloggers meet was the motivation......To gove some background currently I am under going my summer internship @ IndiaInfoline a stock broking firm....... I had to collect form from my perspective clients in the morning before i reach to office. So I did that, but it was already 11:00 am, and I was running late to office. One of my friends also promised me an account of Demat and Trading. So I reached office did some formalities to complete the form submission. To collect the second form I had to go to Nerul, but the Blogger' meet was still in my mind. The only thing now stopped me was how am I supposed to go to Santacruz from Nerul. So again I called Prasad whether it was possible for him for the Blogger's meet. Unfortunately he told me that he was in a bad situation at his office @ Vikhroli and could not make for the Blogger's meet...............

So finally I decided to go to the Blogger's meet alone. What happened in the meet, check out the second Part
